Outputs Expected

1.Approximately 2,846 participatory community institutions established, operational and meeting the livelihood needs of poor households in Uttarakhand.

2.Capacity building of target population, especially women and landless done, thus enhancing their ability to

plan and manage their own development effectively and sustainably.

 

3.Effective Savings and Credit Operation with SHGs of poor households and SHG-Primary Agricultural

Cooperatives Linkage Program established.

 

4.Social Venture Capital Company provides equity support to poor households for promotion of local

enterprises.

 

5.Business Plan development for establishing enterprise required for providing backward and forward linkages

to micro-enterprises.

 

6.Widespread recognition and adoption of Sub-sector Business Development Approach for promotion of

micro-enterprises.

 

7.Policy issues affecting livelihoods of poor identified and studied. Suitable modifications done for creating a

conducive policy environment for livelihood enhancement.
